After the thermostat has been connected to the Kinghome PLUS app, complete the following settings on the Kinghome Thermostat (Model: WK-010WD).
Before setting the thermostat for the first time, set the thermostat mode to OFF.
User Setup
- Function > User Setup > Time, turn on “Synchronize Time with APP” .
- Function > User Setup > Max Heat Setpoint set to maximum 32 °C.
Installation Parameters
- Function > Installation Parameters > Indoor Unit Type set to Furnace (specifically, you need to check the type of furnace and select 1st FUR/2nd FUR).
- Function > Installation Parameters > DualFuel Switch Timer and set it to 10 minutes.
- Function > Installation Parameters > Temperature Display Revise recommended to set it to 0°C. This function perform a temperature deviation correction. Set it based on the difference between the current indoor ambient temperature and the default value displayed on the thermostat.
- Function > Installation Parameters > Compressor on Timer and set the time to 1 minute. This feature will protect the compressor.
Note: To determine the furnace type, refer to the furnace serial number that usually located on the inside of the furnace.
