In a dual-fuel heating scenario, Kinghome thermostats connect to both the heat pump and furnace. Once the SmartCrl function is enabled in the Kinghome PLUS app, the thermostat will use weather, energy price and equipment information to automatically selects the most efficient option between the heat pump and furnace, ensuring both comfort and energy savings for users.
When the smart control function is enabled, the system switches the heat source based on the algorithm’s output. Note: This function only takes effect when the unit is operating in heating mode.
